Ishikawa Shimpei

Mr Ishikawa Shimpei has over 26 years of working experience within the Panasonic Group. Upon his graduation in 1999, he joined Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now known as Panasonic Holding Corporation, Japan (“Panasonic Corporation”)) and was assigned to Matsushita Electric (China). In October 2001, he returned to Japan and joined the Commercial Team of the Air Conditioner Company, Air Conditioner Business Division, Overseas Sales Group. In April 2008, he took an overseas assignment at Matsushita Home Appliances Company, Global Headquarters, Affiliated and was seconded to Panasonic Home Appliances A/C Malaysia. On completing his assignment in Malaysia, he returned to Panasonic Corporation in October 2012 and was made Team Leader of the Americas Team of the Global Consumer Marketing Division, Appliances Marketing Headquarters, Air Conditioner Group. In August 2017, he was promoted to the position of General Manager in charge of the Appliances Company, Overseas Marketing Division, Overseas Marketing Headquarters, Air Conditioner Marketing Center, RAC Marketing Department.

Recognising his experience and contribution, Panasonic Corporation elevated him to the position of Director of the Heating & Ventilation A/C Company, Global Marketing Headquarters, Oversea Marketing Center. He concurrently held position as General Manager of the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Solutions Business Division and also as Head of the Overseas Sales Department. Recently in April 2025, he was appointed to the position of Deputy General Manager of the Air Conditioner Business Division and concurrently holds the position of Director of the Overseas Business Center, Heating & Ventilation A/C Company.
